Douglas, an accomplished young quilter, created a bright Christmas quilt, conducted a raffle, and donated all the proceeds to YSB. (2008)
Doug Leko, a 15 year old quilter, presents $275.00 from to LAYSB representing proceeds from a raffle held to win Christmas Quilt made by Doug.
Pattern: Sweet Shoppe by Cat Nap Quilts. The materials to make the quilt were donated. Journey Quilting in Stacy, MN donated the Machine Quilting. www.ysblakesarea.org
This project was a true collaboration. The pattern testing for Mysterious had a higher calling! (2012)
Greg W and Bill V were the friend connections to Capable Partners. (The materials to make the quilt were donated by Greg.) Sue P was the pattern tester and pieced the quilt top. Doug was the pattern designer and machine quilter. This raffle quilt was extremely popular and was awarded during their Spring Banquet.
